The case takes about three hours to charge from empty. The company claims that the earphones take two hours to fully charge from empty and that 10 minutes of charging should get you about an hour of playback. Of course, your results will vary based on your volume level and use of active noise cancellation. Yamaha estimates that the earbuds can last roughly six hours on battery and that the case holds an additional 16 hours of charge. The front houses status LEDs, while the rear has a USB-C port for the included USB-C-to-USB-A charging cable. The bulky case sports the same speckled design as the outer panels of the earphones and uses a flip-top lid. This is a slight advantage over the IPX4 Apple and Bose models. Neither rain nor sweat should be an issue, but don't try to wash them off under a faucet or dunk them for cleaning.
